Coconut Oil Destroys More than 90% of Colon Cancer Cells in Just 48 Hours

A study, published in the Cancer Research Journal, found out that the lauric acid contained in the coconut oil has potent anticancer properties.

This acid constitutes about 50% of the coconut oil. The researchers at the University of Adelaide discovered that the lauric acid can destroy more than 90% of colon cancer cells in only 48 hours of treatment in a colon cancer cell line in vitro.

The findings of the researchers are supported by other studies that obtained similar results. This oil was proven to be more effective in treating this deadly disease than the conventional cancer treatments, such as radiation and chemotherapy because it cannot cause any side effects.

The lauric acid is a promising cancer cure since it kills the cancer cells with oxidative stress, and it lowers the glutathione levels. Apart from treating cancer, the coconut oil can remove any bad pathogens in the human body.
