Banish Stinky Feet for Good – Five Easy Soaks

To be honest, no one likes stinky feet. It is really embarrassing when you have to take out your shoes around other people because your feet are stinky.

Contrary to what all people think, the sweat is not the thing which makes your feet smelly. It is the bacteria on your skin that feed off of that moisture.

So, naturally, if you are able to control these bacteria, your feet will smell fresh and be squeaky clean. This is why today we are going to share with you some soaks that you might want to try. Plus, there is nothing better than solving an issue while pampering yourself.

Stinky Feet 

1. You can try with the Epsom salt. It neutralizes the odor and soothes the aching feet. Put eight cups of warm water and ½ cup of the Epsom salt into a bucket of water and soak your feet in this mixture for half an hour, once or twice within a day. Then, thoroughly dry your feet.

2. Try sage and rosemary soak. They both have antibacterial and anti fungal properties, and they can both minimize the production of sweat from your feet.

One or two teaspoons of each herb, mixed in a bucket of boiled water is all you need. Soak your feet in for 30 minute, but first make sure the water has cooled down a bit. Dry them out.

3. The best combination here would be the baking soda and citrus soak. The baking soda will kill all the bacteria, fungus, and will soften your skin, while the lemon will give your feet a fresh scent.

Again, in eight cups of warm water add the juice of one lemon, ¼ cup of baking soda, mix it all up and put your feet in. soak for 15 to 20 minutes, and then dry your feet completely.

4. This may sound a bit strange, because this next soak is comprised of vinegar. Even though it is a smelly ingredient, it does a great job getting rid of odors.

It creates an acidic environment, thus killing off all the bad smells. Eight cups of warm water mixed with ½ of apple cider vinegar is all you need. After soaking your feet in for 15 minutes, rinse them off with cold water.

5. At last, one of the most popular feet soaking recipe is the black tea. It has been tried by many people and they are all very satisfied with it.

You need five bags of black tea and four cups of hot water. Pour the water into your foot basin, and then add the tea bags.

Let it sit like that for 10 minutes, and then soak your feet in for 20 minutes. Dont forget to completely dry your feet afterwards.
