The Chrono diet was first designed in 1986 by Alain Delabos, a French doctor who believes that there are specific times of the day when your body naturally secretes enzymes and hormones that convert the nutrients of different food groups into energy rather than fat.

The Chrono diet allows you to learn the basic principles of a healthy nutrition and to rapidly lose weight without regaining your lost pounds afterward.

This diet doesn’t require measuring portions and food quantities or counting calories. Rather, it enables you to adopt a healthy nutrition plan that will help you to shed your excess pounds, to enhance your metabolism, and to improve your health just by making the right choice and combination of foods.

The Chrono diet is based on three basic principles:

1. Creating an alkaline environment in your body. This will help you to maintain your organism in a good health since the acidity can lead to many chronic degenerative or inflammatory diseases, such as diabetes, cancer, and stroke.

2. Eating at the right time. Your daily diet should consist of three main courses. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are mandatory with a time gap of 4 to 6 hours. Between your meals you are not allowed to consume anything, except for water and herbal teas.

3. Glycemic index. This is the way in which certain foods affect your blood sugar levels.

The Chrono diet is completely safe, and it can be adopted by anyone, including children.

It is especially beneficial for the people suffering from high triglyceride, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels. By following this diet, the values can be normalized within only 10 to 30 days.

The results showed 100% success in those who have tried this program and managed to overcome the basic physiological processes.

Restriction period of the Chrono diet

The Chrono diet requires following certain rules. Nevertheless, it has minimal restrictions that are not difficult to adopt. The first phase of the program lasts for 28 days, during which you shouldn’t consume any sugars.

You should avoid eating any fruits, white or brown sugar, sweets, and artificial sweeteners. Also, you shouldn’t drink any alcoholic beverages that have a high percentage of alcohol.

After the first 28 days, certain foods are gradually included in your diet.

The Chrono diet has shown incredible results in people who suffer from obesity, diabetes, and high cholesterol levels.

You can notice the first results in a very brief period of time. The improvement of all the physiological parameters will be visible within only one week.

Nevertheless, in case you are using some kind of cholesterol-reducing medications or blood sugar-regulating drugs, you need to consult your doctor prior to making any dietary changes.
