No One Knew that the Lemon Peel can Help you so Much
This plant we’re about to discuss with you today is one of the oldest plants in the history of time. It is the lemon tree.
It is one of the most cultivated fruit plants in the world too, and all of this because of a very good reason. The lemons are called a super food because they serve a particular purpose.
The lemons, as we all know are filled with vitamins, A, B1, B6, C, as well as minerals, such as magnesium, pectin, folic acid, bioflavonoids, calcium, potassium and phosphorous.
They can protect a person from many diseases and medical conditions. They have a positive impact on the liver, stomach, intestines and the overall immune system.
The taste of the lemon and its peels is nice, sour, acidic taste which can reduce the hyperactivity in the stomach. The peels of the lemon have quite the antiseptic effects, and the leaves are excellent for reducing a fever.
But what you probably did not know about your favorite fruit is that it can heal joint pain too. The volatile essential oils in the lemon peel aid in relaxing the blood vessels and produce an anti inflammatory effect useful for calming down the nerve or joint pain.
Additionally to this,we will share with you one simple recipe with a few ingredients that you already probably have in your home. There are two ways that you can do this, and here they are:
- The first way, you can grate the peel carefully, because you have to get the yellow layer only, without any of the white layer, and then rub the peel directly on the affected area. After that, just wrap it with a bandage and keep it like that for two hours.
- The second way, grind the peels of two lemons and put them in a jar, where you will add olive oil. Then, close the jar shut and keep it shut for the next two weeks.
When you finally open it, rub the liquid directly onto the affected areas and cover it up with a gauze. Let it sit like that over the entire night.
The only thing you have to make sure of is that you use organic lemons. Good luck
